Albacete Hospital Complex Laundry
Castilla La Mancha, Spain
The Albacete Hospital complex, with a 700-bed capacity, is comprised of the Albacete General Hospital and the Hospital Nuestra Senora del Perpetuo Socorro. In 2001, Girbau led a massive renovation of the complex's external laundry facility. Girbau worked in partnership with hospital staff to design the laundry to meet specific production needs. The renovation included the addition of conveyors and ironing lines that significantly improved laundry productivity.
